  1. good

  e.g.

The room has fabulous views across the lake.

She has always had a high reputation for her excellent short stories.

  harmful(对健康等)有害的

  e.g.

  The weather was awful.

He blames himself for the team’s poor performance.

  3. important

  e.g.

It is no doubt that the education of the youth is vital to a country.

The requirement upon listening skill has always been a crucial part of English acquisition.

  其次,“A 对 B 很重要”,我们通常的表达是“A is important to B”,可用来替换的句型有:

  1) A plays an/a important role in B.

  2) B can not livedevelopedgrowsurviveachieve without A.

  3) A matters/counts to B.

  4) Nothing is more crucial to B than A. (“没有什么东西比 A 对 B 更重要了”,即“A 最重要”)

  5) A be of importance to B. (of +名词=形容词,这也是十分常见的用法哦)

  4. thing

  e.g.

  5. first, second, third …

1)to begin with, then, furthermore, finally

2)to start with, next, in addition, finally

3)first and foremost, besides, last but not least

4)most important of all, moreover, finally

5)on the one hand, on the other hand(适用于两点的情况)

6)for one thing, for another thing(适用于两点的情况)
